In addition to our daily school work, Turbo and I have been studying about pirates. We are fortunate enough to have the local Nature and Science Museum offer a fantastic exhibit featuring a REAL LIVE PIRATE STORY! So of course, we had to visit!
So this week we have been building pirate ships from a cardboard box, battling over treasure using our homemade treasure maps and fighting with a cutlass. One morning we even took the day off of school to watch Muppet Treasure Island! Seriously, it is the best movie EVER!!! The only thing that would make it better would be to eat a Pirate Hat Cake!
